DESCRIPTION

I choose this event because I can write chinese words on it, as we know chinese words is like art word and it can make all easier than I make it christmas , idul fitri, or other events.

First I put the tiger on the center , because it is the image that i want to take. next year is tiger year,thats why I put the word tiger to decorate my calendar. it is not only that word but also I put the cloud above the tiger. and next, i put the number arround it.and the rest images are just a chinese decoration to make all this in china's style. Here the information about my calendar:

- background: talking about chinese new year, we can't go far from the red color. we can find them in many thing. for example when the chinese new year comes we can see red lantern, red envelope, red shirt, and so on. we can find the all decoration in red and yellow too. that' s why I put red to my background and to make it interesting I color it with gradient to yellow color. so it doesn't make it bored thing.

- Tiger : The Sheng xiao (Chinese: 生肖) is 12 animals which are representative of years in some East Asia countries, and the Chinese zodiac is the 12-year cycle of these 12 animals. Each year of the 12-year cycle is named after one of the original 12 animals. Each animal has a different personality and different characteristics. The animal is believed to be the main factor in each person's life that gives them their traits, success and happiness in their lifetime.( www.wikipedia.com ). the 12 animals are tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog, pig, rat, ox. and next year will be the tiger. that's why I put the tiger image on the center of my calendar.

-the cloud, when I don't put the cloud the tiger is like lonely and so poor. so, I decide to put a cloud to make the tiger is very holy and it comes from the heaven.

-the image behind of tiger that image I found in many craft actually. i don't know the meaning, but that style looks like helping me to make all these very chinese. I trace it from the chinese craft. it's so interesting for me.

-the image arround craft image. I remember when i'm in indonesia I see some decoration for chinese wedding, so I also put those in my calendar, but I think I make it a little bit different. but that's ok. it's still good

-the white line, I pick this style from the image that i have included from the refrences. the function of the lines is to make it crowded the calendar.

-the shines on the background, I imagine it is sunshine. and the tiger appear from the heaven to the earth.

- and there are word "tiger" in chinese word on the calendar. I make them all transparent so, you can see the word like the one group with the background. however they are not. (actually I can't write and speak chinese. and I ask to my friend to write "tiger" and I put it on this. thanks to my friend)

- I put the nature in the background, because some many chinese art work have the nature thing in that, even you don't know what the plant is.

- and the last.. the word always smile in chinese and english lay on my calendar because I want to make the reader or the person have this calendar will be given happiness everyday and every year. It's based on my friend's mind. thanks to my friends.

- and the word is yellow because chinese doesn't like black color.
