I want to tell you about my logo.
actually, i just pick the last logo of the starbucks and redesign it to another form, so this logo doesn't go far away from the original. maybe it looks different, when I add some cultural on it.

I'm Indonesian and i choose batik for my logo.. actually indonesia has so many different type of batik. but i choose batik yogyakarta to decorate my logo.

first,
I drew this image on the piece of paper and consult it to the lecturer, but in that time, I just planned that I wanted to put an red and white color (indonesian's flag) on it to give a cultural elements.

when i was thinking for a long time, i decide to redesign this logo for make a new thing, new appearence, and new meaning. so I created this logo.

then, I started to do in the adobe illustrator.This is the result of my work at the first time
It is very simple, no culture, no meaning, etc.

after that, I add a culture on it. that is batik Indonesia.

why did I choose batik on my Logo?
Batik is a wax resist dyeing technique used on textile. Batik is considered as national art in Indonesia. Javanese batik, especially from Yogyakarta, has special meanings which is rooted to the Javanese idea of the universe.

during I was adding the batik, I thought that the logo must be different because of culture. then I change and redesign the logo to be like this

I combine batik and the circle.and I also clear the image on the center, because it doesn't have a meaning.

next, I learnt about gloss technic and I got many thing when I was learning about that. so I change the green liquid (frame) becomes like this.

Then, when I was trying to get the center image. I redesign for many times. and become like this, but without center image

then, I addone culture again on it to the logo. that is wayang. I chose wayang because because it has a beautiful form and so original from indonesia. it has many character and I chose Gatotkaca to lay in the center as a center image

then, inspired from the black and white image that has double image in the one picture. I created it and add that image to my logo, although it's so diffiicult to see. first u must look the black side and then white. it has two images in one picture.
